MFW DIARIES DAY 1
Melbourne Fashion Week has officially begun. Spring is in full swing apparently. Of course, we're never going to win here in Melbourne since the weather is four seasons in one.
I had the pleasure of attending the Emporium Opening runway on Friday night and due to our unforeseen weather, I opted to wear all four seasons, staying true to my Melburnian style.
My shirt is from Melbourne born brand DEVOI. The blouse floral print is absolutely divine, I also love the cut of it, it has a slight balloon sleeve. The jacket is an oldie but a goodie from my old pal Zara, which they still have in stock! My fabulous pants are made by Elliatt the label, aren't they cool?! And, just so I'm not totally cold, I wore my Ambra tights underneath to complete my outfit. Oh, and I see you've spotted my latest baby snug around my hips, that's my new Gucci baby, isn't she a beauty!
Stay tuned for my trend review, there were some show stoppers on the night and feminine romance dominated the runway this year.
REVIEW AUSTRALIA: Why it's OK to change up your personal style
Staying true to your personal style is a definite thing, but perhaps what would you think if I said it's OK to try a different trend that's out of your comfort zone, or to wear whatever you want just because you feel like it.
It's totally ok to change up your personal style, although some might disagree and say "stay true to your signature style" then you're putting blinkers (only seeing what's in front and they aren't distracted by other trends) on from outfits that could well suit you, and might even surprise you.
Some days, I'll want to be a rockstar, I'll wear a leather jacket, my boyfriend jeans and a belt then at times, I'll want to dress feminine, almost a romantic style when it comes to shirts.
That means, bows on shirts, peter pan collars etc.
So when I slipped into this trench from Review, it was made to perfection. I instantly thought of everywhere and anywhere I could wear it. Especially in Melbourne, since the weather is so changeable.
This classic trench coat takes inspiration from the French staple, with grosgrain frills, buckle detail at cuffs and waistband.
I tend to wear a lot of darker colours, you know because it's a Melbourne thing! But, I figured, it's OK to dress it up a little, perhaps wearing pink might be my colour and not so 'legally blonde cliche'. When I put on this jumper from Review, I instantly fell in love. The lace detail and the Peter Pan collar had completely changed my mind about wearing pink.
That's why I love how Review lets me play with that feminine style that I crave for from time to time. We all have a personal style, and that's fine, but perhaps you should try something different for once, you might surprise yourself.
Review is now available in Boutiques, Online, Myer and David Jones
What i'm wearing

9 to 9 style with RUBI SHOES
I like to wear an outfit I can wear from morning to after 5. That's right! I'm talking about a solid outfit that I can wear from the early brisk cold mornings with a hot cuppa coffee in my paws, and into the evening of the dancing nights with the cool air and kicking up my heels with my girlfriends after a few coffee martinis.
You heard me right, it's coffee from sunrise to sunset. Perhaps that's why I'm usually hyper and so enthusiastic throughout my day..... Maybe I should cut down on that? Nahhhhh.
Besides being a coffee addict, I thoroughly love a versatile outfit that I can wear throughout the day. But it's the shoes that will be the make or break your outfit. I wore this outfit from day to night and all I did was change my shoes from Rubi.
MY 9 AM OUTFIT
I'm currently all for this 'casual Parisian trend' that we Aussies have slowly adapted to. This means cigarette jeans or 'mum jeans' with a sleek blazer and a basic coloured t-shirt/jumper to complete your très chic outfit and of course with a pair of comfy mule sneakers. For that fox on the go, I'd wear this outfit out for lunch, catch ups or even to a casual meeting.
MY 9 PM OUTFIT
I paired my très chic outfit with a pair of dusty pink mules. Giving it an overall glam night out look. You know, even just having these in the boot of the car will come in handy in case you have an important meeting to attend or a last minute invite to an event. This is my classic go-to winter outfit to go out to a bar with my foxes for a catch-up and laughs over coffee martinis.
It's amazing what a pair of shoes can do for your outfit.

The stylish OlympusPEN E-PL8 is every fashion bloggers dream camera. It not only takes photos, but also videos content to perfection and has a range of amazing settings. (which I'll get stuck into in a moment) The beautiful retro design paying homage to the camera industry, but it's the detail of the screen that can externally come out a flip-down screen that can help you shoot that perfect flat lay. PEN E-PL8 is also the perfect camera to take selfies, you can capture yourself moving and speaking while recording. The touchscreen gives you also a tap-to-shoot option and zoom buttons making life just that smidgen easier.
The options for capturing your favourite moments are endless and are easily created with turn on the mode dial on the top of the camera. It has multiple modes to choose from, my favourite is the ART filter mode. It has different filters that you can adjust to your liking, it can really change the look of the picture without having to edit it on your computer. Pop Art makes your picture stand out from the crowd, enhancing the colours of your picture. Diorama really creates a cutting edge photo, meaning the attention to detail is sharp of the image. That's only a few there's 12 more to choose from to suit your creative image style.
Speaking of not having to edit your images on your computer, this little baby has a built-in Wi-Fi and with the Olympus Image Share smartphone app it can be used to easily import photos and movies from the camera to a smartphone. You can now share your photos on Instagram in an instance.
I've personally loved using this device, its quick, easy and it's super stylish that I'll wear as an accessory around me. They've also created a range of fashion straps that you can check out here.
It allows me to be creative, express my skills without the need for photoshop, and it's easy to learn the camera itself without feeling silly if you're a photographer newbie.

Dream Bag: Top Five Tips before you buy a designer bag.
So, you've saved your pennies and you're ready to buy your first designer bag, it doesn't come around often. Unless you've got a superb job or you've got a disposable income - if not then it's a pretty big decision with what you'll be wearing around your arm. I know a lot of my followers are 17-28 years old, and not everyone can just drop 2k on a bag every day. So here are my top five tips to think about before buying your bag!
Firstly, Don't feel awkward or ashamed to go into a luxury store to try on a bag you like. Write down each bag you desire and then go into the store and try them on all on, try them on as much as you like! Take photos, save them, and go through them later and figure out which one you have your heart set on.
Secondly, buy something that's going to be timeless. My first luxury bag was my mini Marmont Gucci. It's small, the leather is buttery soft and I have no regrets of buying it.
My second purchase was a pink Gucci bag, and at the time I thought it was a big costly regret. Although colourful bags are beautiful, you might get upset like I did that colour transfer can happen. You'll have to be extremely delicate and precious with your bag, and that's not the person I am. I want to wear my bags every day without worry. Thankfully I was able to get a credit note due to another leather error in the bag and bought this classic padlock bag instead.
Thirdly, make sure the bag suits you. It's ok to buy the smaller bag, the other might be $200 difference and a little bit bigger, but if it doesn't suit you or sit correctly on you, you'll be unhappy. You want at least a good 5 or more years out of your bag, you don't want it to be locked away and forgotten!
Fourthly think about where you'd wear the bag, is it an event/occasion bag, or are you after an everyday bag?
And lastly, wear that bag proud, you deserve it and don't let anyone tell you otherwise
Till next time Foxes.

WHY IT'S STILL "ON TREND" TO LIVE IN THE MOMENT
If you haven't noticed, or perhaps you have recently observed that I took a little break from writing. I thoroughly enjoy writing and expressing my thoughts to you all, but the last month I've been embracing the moment and enjoying the little things.
Yes, I've been active on social media, but I've tried my hardest to just chill-out and enjoy my own personal time. Even catching up with friends and just simply putting the phone down and engaging in current real life conversation.
It's been great to have the chance to reflect and regain myself. It's really helped me figure out myself and what I wish to gain or progress going forward with a certain venture. I highly recommend my foxes to do the same every now and again.
What have I been doing you ask? Well, the last month or so I've been catching up on a bit of reading, I've been trying to read every night, although I've been distracted watching NetFlix. It's amazing how you can spend your whole day sucked up watching a season of shows. I watched Outlander, I highly recommend it, Riverdale and the end of Pretty Little Liars.
I watched Aladdin the Disney musical, read my review HERE it was MAGICAL! I was the third row from the stage. It was a delight to watch and fantastic to see their costumes up and close. I even had the honour of meeting a few cast members backstage!
I attended Sydney MBFWA which also was a highlight for, which you can read all about HERE. I've been wanting to write 'A guide to fashion week.' I saw numerous runway shows and was able to go backstage! The vibe back there was so creative, it was fantastic to be part of and to see so many passionate and dedicated people in one room.
Recently I have also been trying my hand at food blogging! I've been trying out a few places out for brunch, it's been fun!
So, what now? I'm back and ready to write again. Hold on tight foxes... we're in for a ride.
What are five things you want to start doing to live in your moment?

MBFWA 2017 OUTFIT 2 WITH REDKEN BACKSTAGE PASS
My second outfit for MBFWA was more of a relaxed casual approach to the #streetstyle #ootd look. It was a really fun and quirky outfit.
Layering was the key, and I really enjoy layering different unique items together. I also enjoy wearing colours! I know, surprise right? I feel like my true Melbourian ways really shine through wearing dark fabrics most of the time, but I decided to wear this beautiful blush tone ruffle sleeved top from Lovers & Friends. My pants are from Diesel, but similar HERE, Jacket is from Pretty Little Things, but similar HERE.
