*These are my own thoughts and words, none of this is scientific, and by no means, I'm not complaining, I love what I do and I wouldn't have it any other way.
Giving lectures, guest speaker talks and having my own seminar. This has been amazing, giving my own advice in what I'm passionate about, showcasing my own personal research about social media and teaching others about the digital sphere.
Not showing every detail, some days I actually do get down about life, and I can't write about that because I don't want others to be down or feel sorry for me because there are worse things out there than me just having a bad day. Sometimes i'm just too hard on myself.
What do you get when Hello Kitty teams up with PUMA? The most epic collaboration the world has seen. Comfort meets cuteness.
I've always been such a big fan of hello kitty, so it's such an honour to collaborate together.
I love the attention to detail on the sneakers, I just feel extra special when I'm strolling down the street with these on. If you can't tell, there's a little touch of gold on the sole of the shoe and underneath hello kitty's bow is actually inside the rubber! It's so cool!
The track pants are super soft and I can defiantly see myself wearing these with a pair of heels, to give it that 'sporty street style' edge.
Hello Kitty will always be my first love.

Till next time Foxes..
Give me a pair of denim jeans and a comfy tshirt any day of the week.
Denim jeans are my go-to outfit for any day of the week, and especially events with the right shoe. Dress them up with a blazer and heels for a special night out, a quirky tee and you're set for the night.
I've teamed up with NEXT AU, and created a few different outfits for you foxes, just wearing two different styles of jeans.
The MOM jean, and the frilly cut offs. Have a scroll how i've styled my jeans, and check out the wide range of different styles denim NEXT has HERE to suit all shapes. They're super comfortable, stretchy material and they make you feel good when worn.
Everything you see is from NEXT, top to bottom. I've added in the links below each outfit.

Fashion blogging, travel blogging, review blogging, blogging. It's hit an all-time phenomenon and every single one of us can be a blogger. We hear how saturated the market is, how it's 'too hard' to break into it, but if you're passionate about it and you just want to write to get your digital voice out there, then you're on the right track.
Creating a blog with the one aim to be 'insta-famous' is not the way to go, it's a cool ambition, but these things do take time and honestly, after four years I still feel like I'm trying to break the ice on the interwebs.
So you want to be a blogger?
Firstly pick a niche market that you're interested in. Chances are, out of the millions and billions of people out there, they'll be interested just as much as you are. Once you've identified what you want to write about pick three social media platforms you want to dish out on.
If you're wondering why I'm writing this and saying "Aren't you scared of competition?" No, not really, because we're all different and we all have a different tone of voice.
Social media platforms.
Think, do I want to use Instagram? Pinterest, Youtube, Tumblr, WordPress, Squarespace, LiveJournal, facebook?
Pick only three of these platforms, that you want to focus your energy on, or even two when you're just starting out. This will keep up your personal motivation, you'll be able to focus on your main platforms. Sometimes you might not see results within a week, a month or even a year. But if you pursue, and keep writing and posting your content, eventually you will be found, heard and read.
Proofread your work.
Having someone read over your work is the best way to not only make sure you have zero errors in your work, but it also helps you learn and grow and to accept constructive criticism. It's OK for your proofreader to have an opinion, don't take it to heart just take everything as advice. Get your mum, friend, boyfriend, girlfriend or even your grandmother to have a read over it. They don't have to be professionals, as long as they understand your work, then the rest of the world will too.
This can be hard because sometimes you might not feel comfortable having a friend read your work. I like to use Grammarly to help me with correcting my work on my own. I also will take a break from my work for a few hours, watch Netflix and then I'll come back to my piece and read it out loud. I try to get out of my mind, so to speak when correcting my own piece.
Structure your blog posts, have flow in your writing.
You literally have less than 5 seconds to grab someones attention with your writing, so kick start your piece with something exciting, punchy and entertaining. You don't want to read a piece that drains you right? So don't post up that one up! Use adjectives describe every moment, let your words sing.
What we don't want.
We went travelling, it was fun. Saw big rocks, they were cool.
What we want
Today we went travelling, it was the first time in ages I could wear a t-shirt, I could feel the hot air skim my shoulders whilst we trekked the hike. The view was phenomenal, I felt the world under my feet as i glanced at the never-ending blue sky.
See the difference?
Content is the key!
You want visually appealing images with your blog posts. They both work hand in hand with each other. Now at first, you might not have a crazy expensive camera, using your iPhone is just fine! Or, if you're looking to splash a little cash, then have a read on my Olympus camera review, because this little baby does the job.
When you feel confident, then I suggest investing in a DSLR camera. I use the Canon 6d.
With this new kind of articles, I'll be able to post twice a week.
Try to aim twice to three times a week on your site for posting. If you can't do that. then at least try to post up once a week.
Then share your links through your two-three media platforms.
Hope you enjoyed part one, tune in next week when I post part two!
I've cut this up into sections because I don't want to write a mouthful. Also if you have any q&a you'd like to send me, feel free to shoot me an email email@example.com, and I'll answer your question in the next post.

Till next time Foxes...
Recently I went back to my old faithful Oscar-Oscar Doncaster.
I haven't touched my hair since August, so it was well overdue for a refresh with the colour.
Kyle did my blonde-refresher. He's a pro-professional, having been previously with Redken as their colour trainer. Meaning, he taught around Australia far and wide on how to create the perfect colour for clients. That's the thing about Oscar-Oscar, they have the best professionals who are so well trained and know hair.
Kyle put in only had half a head of foils because previously Sarah had coloured my hair with a full head. A full head is only required once a year followed by half a head. Kyle did a mixture of low-lights and bleach, every second foil alternated when he sectioned off my hair. Oscar-Oscar uses Redken hair colour it's ammonia-free formula strengthens and conditions your hair for long-lasting results. Whilst I waited for my colour to develop, I was treated with tea and of course on offer you can have a neck or hand massage.
Once after my colour was developed it was time to wash it all out! But, just not any kind of o'l shampoo and rinse, I had a gloss treatment put in as well followed by a root stretch. Root stretching is a technique that blends out the natural root colour, so it all blends well together!
Once after, I had a blow-wave followed by some dreamy waves styled by Kyle.
For me, this is the best way to keep my hair blonde-tastic. Everyone is different, but at Oscar-Oscar, they will perfect the right colour for you.
Till next time Foxes.
When I wear the ultimate statement boot, I often feel that I can take on the world without a problem, even if one comes my way, my stride walking down the street with my awesome booties makes me feel good.
I love how my outfit can be so simple, and yet the shoes will be the main star of attraction. Some days I want my shoes to speak for my own personal style and these babies from Terry De Havilland do just that. A UK based brand that knows style.
The brand has graced the feets such as Lady Gaga, Cara Delevingne Kate Moss, Led Zeppelin, Bianca Jagger and the late rock music legend David Bowie. I feel honoured, although I'm not even close to these stars, knowing that this brand has been worn by these legends, makes these shoes not just special, but extra special.
So next time you decide to pick up your usual go-tos, why not try something different that stands out.
Readers note: This blog post has been written intentionally with a light-hearted tone of voice.
Ps... yes that's me pouring myself a drank.... cheers to single life!
*Cue fairytale cloud bubble please*
Ahhh, V day. A time where the bluebirds sing and the man of your dreams holds your hand ever so tightly whilst he stares into your eyes. It's just you two, walking across the harbour, hand in hand looking out to the sea. He's just treated you to the most beautiful dinner ever and bought you all these gifts just to show him how much he loves yo..... oh wait, sorry you're single?
Then no freakin problem. Being single isn't as bad as everyone makes it out to be. When I was younger, I use to hate being single, but now as I've become the ripe old age of 25 (haha) I've started to become picker, lazier and Netflix has really filled that gap with happiness, the happiness like discovering an awesome tv show.
I no longer mind being single, it's taught me to become stronger, to care less about little things and to know my self-worth is greater than any guy who's going to treat me bad and to simply walk away if it's just not working out. Also, I really, really, really love myself.
So, if you're happy like me being ridiculously single and loving it, or perhaps you're feeling a little blue on v-day, then no worries I've got 7 hot lovely dovey tips to treat YO self. So stop moping around, click away from your ex's Instagram account, pick yourself up and get OUT THERE and BE YOU.
PS this goes for all my Foxy readers and Mr Foxes out there.
WARNING: If you're in a relationship, then this post isn't for you, read at your own RISK.
1. Buy yourself a v-day card. "To me from me"
I bought myself this really cute bacon and eggs one, and it plays music too, the tune is "So Happy Together - The Turtles" and damn straight I'm happy together with myself so that's a plus! So, why the card you ask? Well, I want you to write down everything you want to achieve this year, or your goals or my favourite simply telling yourself how ridiculously awesome you are. While you're at it, get yourself some roses too.
I got this card from Coles.
2. Go out to your favourite brunch/dinner spot with your other single mates or do it alone!
There's a lot of us that don't have boyfriends or girlfriends, so I'm sure you and your bestie can take yourselves out to your favourite foodie place you've been wanting to try out! Or if you enjoy your own company, then a table for one, please! Get out the laptop, sip on a big mug of coffee, and catch up on your favourite bloggers or tv shows and little online shopping!
3. Treat YO SELF to something decently expensive.
I got myself a Gucci card holder, it's like saying to yourself " thanks for loving you"
And, plus side you can't break up with yourself so 0 bad memories with that item, just saying. FROM ME TO ME.
4. Binge night in!
Gather up all your favourite food, or order some take in and have a good o'l marathon of your favourite shows! You'll be totally set for your night in and before you know it valentines day will be yesterday's news. Maybe make it like a week binge, I think couples like to post #throwbacks.
5. You know that old saying, "You can't have your cake and eat it too"
Well you sure can on valentines day, because you see that epic cake in the window, well I've got news for you.. it's ALL YOURS. You can have your very own cake, and eat it all too. Boom! Never thought you could conquer that saying, could ya?
Bentwood Cafe has the best deserts... and food
6. A little TLC to yourself
There are three options for this depending on your budget.
A. Book yourself into a fancy hotel and treat yourself to a day spa, i'm talking the works, get a massage, a facial, have a relaxing day and night to yourself. You deserve this.
B. Have yourself a home day spa, this means try out that new facial mask, paint your nails, give yourself a hair treatment. Followed by no.4 tip or... call the girls/guys up, you're going out for drinks at your favourite bar for a little drink and a good o'l fashion boogie, and yes I'm well aware V-day lands on a Wednesday, it's hump day baby. (no pun intended)
C. Get a blow-wave at Oscar Oscar! They also have special beauty hair packs you can choose, some of them even include a head and hand massage! WARNING: They're amazing, trust me! I've had them SIDE EFFECTS: You'll never want to wash your own hair again!
7. Have yourself a sexy secret.
Buy yourself the sexiest lingerie ever, why wait for someone else to buy it for you? This way, you'll be able to have your own sexy secret during v-day. The one i'm wearing is from www.simone-perele.com.au
8. Treat yo pet.
If you have a pet dog or cat, then treat your pet out to a puppachino and a new snack, cuddle up together, you know they've been #loyal to you always, and they always listen to all the intense things you talk about without ever answering back so give them a little extra love on v-day
And, although this isn't 9, but if you're in a relationship reading this and you know a single friend, then send them an email, card or give them a face-time call and tell them how much you love them as your friend. If you're feeling super generous and you don't mind, then let your single friend third wheel on Valentine's day!
Till next time Foxes! Happy Valentine's day...
Firstly, sorry for the lack of blog posts. I've been in my own world for the past two months, and it was a well needed and rested break.
Don't get me wrong, I was still very active on Instagram and of course my lovely Instagram stories to keep you all up to date on my crazy life. Sometimes, we have all these amazing people around us, who support us, but despite this, I've caught myself feeling a little flat and writing lists without ticking off anything and saying "oh, I'll do it in 30 mins" and when 30 minutes came around I'd go and take a nap and get caught up in my Netflix vortex again. I was mentally drained, I knew it was time for a break.
I just needed a break from writing, I have so much to say and to write down that my whole mind just shut off. Perhaps it was studying two years straight without a break. So, let me give you a rundown, or a quick catch up so to speak where and what I've been doing.
Netflix; watching continuously without a break 12 hours straight. I'm now fluent in tv shows such as Mad Men, Freaks and Geeks, cult fan movies like Twilight and Korean dramas such as hello my twenties. I've laughed, cried and had some seriously deep thoughts after I've finished a season of a never returning show. Isn't that the worse feeling? I think it's way worse than breaking up with someone, instead you're forced into breaking up with a show that you have to imagine what could've, would've been! sigh.
I graduated! Yep, that's right, I have a degree fox! Suck on that h8ers who thought I'd never get one. It was so fulfilling getting up on that stage and being proud as punch. This is maybe the reason why I shut off from writing, I've been writing for two years straight non-stop. I think it just took so much out of me, that I've just been enjoying my own time. Did you know, I was doing 6 units at one stage that overlapping each other during summer and normal semester... yup I did that.
Books; reading on and off, and trying to let my mind wander into the world of fantasy. I've been reading 'On Love' by Alain De Botton, it's been such a great read, I've been really enjoying it so far. And truth be told I picked up a poem book, which is a little x rated called 'Dirty Pretty Things'. I read a few pages in the bookshop and thought it was good until I really read it in depth at home ha! If you didn't know, I actually like poems, I enjoy reading them and breaking them down into what they mean for myself or what the writer's intentions were about the lines. I know, nerdy right?
Online Shopping; I've been doing that whole online shopping thing again, hours of scrolling through clothes and recently a new found love for putting items on my "wish list" instead of "in the basket". I really appreciate the wish list, it almost fulfils me... ALMOST.
Eating and spending time with friends. I've enjoyed relaxing and catching up with friends with the occasional street style photo of course! I've been in love with Bentwood Cafe!
So, now that you're up to speed, I'll be posting regularly, and this year I want to write what's on my mind, or 'how to' things for you all you foxes. You've been by my side for years, so it's time I give back some advice.
Till next time Foxes....

I've been blogging for almost three and a half years now. It's been such an exciting whirlwind of an experience that I've been so lucky to be part of. Back in high school, being a blogger wasn't a job, heck it didn't even exist. I've met so many like-minded creatives, experienced opportunities that I'd never thought I'd ever do with just doing the per usual 9-5 job. I've also been able to express myself online and share my passion with so many who follow me, I love every single one of my foxes. Being a blogger isn't just all about the pretty pictures, it's about being your own boss, putting your skills to the test and being real. Since blogging, I love that I have a voice that can be heard and read by so many of you. Writing has helped me express myself to the world. There's been some ups and a few downs, but mostly ups. I'm grateful to be still on this exciting journey, and I can't wait to show you what I'll be creating next.
Since blogging, I've has some big 'pinch me' moments. I have been able to work with some big and small brands in the industry, this has not only helped me grow professionally but grow as a creative. Being given these opportunities by people who see me as a micro influencer, not too phased about my Instagram following, but as someone who is passionate and that can go that extra mile with creative content and express my ideas into a reality. I've also been part of some fantastic campaigns, one major one was for Esprit for international national womens day.
Freedom of creativity
I have always known that I wanted to be in the creative field. I've always been creative, whether it was doing drama, art or wanting to be a comedian. Having control of my own content and creative ideas without a brief has is an amazing feeling to do. Being able to capture a moment from my vision and into a reality is something I'm so grateful to do. I love creating campaigns and a story to tell to not only my followers but for the brands to use to tell their story online.
Being my own "model"
Being able to embrace all my curves and not have to be a sample sized model to showcase my outfits to my fellow foxes is awesome. It's fine to be any shape or size!
Technically I do a little bit of modelling whilst blogging, i'm no way a model, but I love that I can collaborate with brands and show my followers it's OK to have curves and you don't have to be a size zero to be in fashion. I'm a little thick in certain areas, and that's not fat, that's just being sexy! It took me ages to love my hips, I'd compare myself to others and I wasn't born with that body shape, I was born hourglass and now I love that I don't have to think twice about my body shape and that I can style and wear something because I love it and feel good in it, and to show curves are fabulous to have.
Meeting like-minded people
People who share the same passion as you, wether they're bloggers, designers or lovers of fashion.
I've met so many amazing creative minds of all ages since starting my blog. I've grown close to others who share the same thoughts and love about the industry and express our passions together. I've had some marvellous conversations and I've met some amazing people that I'd never of dreamed to have ever met in my life. People with passion is the fuel for your own pursuits and surrounding yourself with people who believe in you.
(yes, i've also met a few celebs which has been totally cool, and I try to keep "cool" but inside i'm totally fangirling)
I love being a little social butterfly, but some events are fun to attend to see what will be out next, and others such as seminars I attend gain an insight about where the world will be in the next 5 or so years in fashion. Being part of this lets my followers gain an insight into what I experience online.
Last, but not least.....
my FOXY FANS. I love that you foxes inbox me or dm me on my instagram, chat to me and comment. I love every part of that, and when you come up to me when you see me out and about, it gives me so much joy because I love you all. Thank you so much from paw to tail, you guys ROCK.
