Zonzo Estate

If you're looking to visit one winery this year in Melbourne, then I assure you that Zonzo Estate is the one you'll need to have on your list to check off. 

Zonzo Estate is located in the stunning Yarra Valley. Once you've arrived you'll be able to see the rows of vineyards that stretch out across the land, taking you a moment to breathe and relax and enjoy the scenery around. 

It doesn't stop there, once you've walked into Zonzo Estate restaurant, you'll be greeted by the rustic vibes of the restaurant, taking you far away from Australia and into a little Italy of your own. 
The beautiful architecture and surroundings are absolutely remarkable. 

I was able to experience a range of different wines but fell in love with the taste of Zonzo Estate Chardonnay. The wine was refreshing, sweet and perfect to sip on throughout whilst indulging the amazing dishes served.

I enjoyed the crumbed artichokes hearts drizzled with vincotto and the Gnocchi Al Burro E Salvia, which is Handmade gnocchi with burnt butter and sage, these little babies melted in my mouth in an instant! The Arrosto Di Agnello was superb as it's slow cooked lamb in red wine and porcini mushrooms with green beans and roasted potatoes.

It didn't stop there. Zonzo has a great range of pizzas that are super tasty and made to perfection

To finish off this amazing experience, I had a coffee and a range of small cakes to finish. 

Before I left, I walked around the winery to get a glimpse of the view before I went home. It was stunning and so relaxing to be out far away from the city to experience pure bliss around me.

WEALTH WORDS!

I get a lot of emails asking for advice and writing tips from other aspiring bloggers and creatives. My biggest tip is learning words and writing them down in your own personal diary, another way is also doing crossword puzzles! I really enjoy doing them, not only have they helped me grow my vocab they're also pretty fun to do! 

 

I've been playing on Wealth - Words for awhile now, and no longer do I have to play alone filling out a book, I can now play online and compete with people across the world... and best part I can win cash prizes. Mayfair Hotel's speculator high tea

High Tea anyone?! 

If you're in Adelaide, then you absolutely must check out Mayfair Hotel's speculator high tea. During my stay over Adelaide Fashion Festival, I experienced the most lavish (yet reasonable priced) high tea I have ever experienced. 

In the most elegant downstairs area, you'll be whisked away to a French Provincial style high tea area, where there's also a dining area for lunch or iced coffees! 

Greeted by the hosts, we sat at our table, and started the event with champagne, followed by savoury and sweets that were not only pretty but tasty too! Both sweet and savoury were real yum, which is hard to find. For me, it’s usually one or the other, but both were on point this time around! 

Their desserts are actually made from Mayfair's very own honey! In fact, they have their own Bee hive area on the roof top! 

We enjoyed our food with a large pot of English breakfast, which was served in fine Wedgwood china because nothing else will do at a high tea after all. We then tried chocolate cake off the signature french gateaux buffet, which was out of this world.

With service at a supreme level, there wasn't ever a moment we weren't attended to. I had such a beautiful time, and if you're in Adelaide Foxes, you have to try this place out. 

High Tea starts at $39 per person, which includes sparkling. Plus, if you add an additional $10 per person, you have anything off the french gateaux buffet!

St. Cloud Eating House

If you’re a lover of Vietnamese cuisines then St Cloud Eating House is where you’ll be reunited with your love. 
Having an array of delicious lunch and dinner options, and being a vegan and gluten friendly restaurant. Serving only the best of home-style Vietnamese fresh food that will make you come back for more. 

Not only is the food superb, but St Cloud eating house lives up to their name. Inside the vibe is cosy yet chic, you’ll get caught up in conversation with your friends as the feel of the room makes you comfortable and warm environment. There is also an upstairs area with a  balcony for the warmer days and balmy nights. 

 

Curious for what this fox ate? 

We first started with the fresh chicken rice paper rolls
It’s not only super tasty chicken with herbs and lettuce, but the spicy coconut dipping sauce electrifies your taste buds wanting more! 
A great starter and very refreshing. 

Banh Khot
Turmeric and coconut pancakes! 
This was a crunchy delight! Full of flavour and texture
it’s turmeric and coconut pancakes, they’re mini and crunchy. Wrap them in the lettuce leaves and enjoy! 

Finishing with our two mains!

Caramel Pork Belly
Absolutely mouth watering, this is served in a hot pot and it’s full of flavour. Inside the hotpot  are a soft egg, pickled chilli, spring onion, black pepper and crackling. The pork literally melts in your mouth once you’ve taken a bite. 
I’m craving to go back for this one, it’s delish, great for a cold winter night. 

Chicken wings
Get your fingers sticky with this delish chicken wings cooked with
fish sauce caramel, sticky rice, burnt onions, house pickles, herbs. 

I highly recommend you try this place out if you live in Melbourne or visiting!

BURGERS AT ROYAL STACKS

I love a good burger,  I'm talking about ones when the cheese is oozing out combined with the tastiest beef patty topped with sauce and more sauce.  Sounds too good to be true right? Well, it's not!, I've found just the place for all you burger lovers out there. Meet ROYAL STACKS located in Collins street. All your burger dreams located in one restaurant. The vibe is super relaxed, casual and great for families to after work drinks. They use beef that is completely free from GMO, hormones, and antibiotics.  They're not only good at burgers but their potato gems topped with oozy cheese and desserts are just as good. 
These burgers are unbelievable and I insist you all to go chow one down! 

Keeping in a Royal theme I had The King, and my it certainly was the king of all burgers.

Pasture fed beef patty, butter lettuce,  tomato, handmade mac & cheese patty now this is seriously amazing when you bite into it. A real strong flavour hit on the first mouth full! American mustard and special burger sauce mmmm!

Cheese Gems
These are so mouth-watering! They're little potato gem goodness, smothered with melting cheese sauce, you'll love these especially if you're a love cheese lover like myself.

LUNCHING WITH MOET & CHANDON AT MORRIS JONES MELBOURNE

Morris Jones recently launched their speculator Moet & Chandon inspired lunch menu. Located in Chapel St, creating a stylish and beautiful atmosphere and feel inside and out of the venue. Unveiling their three-course menus created by head chef Matthew Butcher, who in fact worked under world-renowned celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay. The menu is absolutely delish, each with a touch of champagne tantalising your taste buds for more! 

I had such a beautiful lunch, it was so relaxing to sit and chat and try these different courses, and you too will find the environment is beautiful for a catch up with loved ones or with friends for a special lunch treat.  

The menu has a wide range of choice for entrée’s, main and dessert. 

 

 

Before we were treated to our three-course menu, we were served salt and vinegar ‘chips’ that are dehydrated flavoured saltbush. 
And House-made Beer and Caraway Seed Bread with Honey Butter. The honey butter was super tasty and sweet. 

For my entrée, I went with the Champagne poached salmon. It was presented in a glass dome,  and inside when opened emerged a thin cover of smoke, it was magical and somewhat enchanting. It tasted just as good as it was served. Beautifully cooked, as each bite melted in my mouth, the combined taste with the cucumber slices, creamy honey puree and sprinkled with chilli and yuzu seeds completing the dish as a whole.

Main I had mushroom risotto with truffle grains and pickled grapes. It was rich in flavour as you could taste the truffle grains, mushrooms and the grapes and a dash of champagne. 

Dessert, if you don’t know I’m a big fan of cheese,   I had a cheese plate of Le Delice triple cream brie with honey. 

All of this with two options of 2/3 courses with a glass of wine for $35/$45 available Friday-Sunday. Now, go treat yo self!

Trinitas Thai

You might be like me and have never experienced Thai, or maybe it’s your favourite food; either way I’ve found the place for you.

Renowned TV presenter Lee Chan invited a few of her closest friends, each talented women in their own careers, to a beautiful dinner at Trinitas Thai.

 

Located in leafy suburban Camberwell, away from the hustle and bustle of busy Melbourne city, it creates the perfect mood for catch ups with friends or dinner dates.

 

During the night, we feasted on the most scrumptious of treats, each dish with a unique flavour and a kick of spice! My favourite was the Thai prawn ravioli with lemongrass, galangal infused coconut sauce! It was absolutely delish!

Along with desert was the Thai fried banana balls with caramel sauce; another favourite.
