*These are my own thoughts and words, none of this is scientific, and by no means, I'm not complaining, I love what I do and I wouldn't have it any other way.
Giving lectures, guest speaker talks and having my own seminar. This has been amazing, giving my own advice in what I'm passionate about, showcasing my own personal research about social media and teaching others about the digital sphere.
Not showing every detail, some days I actually do get down about life, and I can't write about that because I don't want others to be down or feel sorry for me because there are worse things out there than me just having a bad day. Sometimes i'm just too hard on myself.
Recently I went back to my old faithful Oscar-Oscar Doncaster.
I haven't touched my hair since August, so it was well overdue for a refresh with the colour.
Kyle did my blonde-refresher. He's a pro-professional, having been previously with Redken as their colour trainer. Meaning, he taught around Australia far and wide on how to create the perfect colour for clients. That's the thing about Oscar-Oscar, they have the best professionals who are so well trained and know hair.
Kyle put in only had half a head of foils because previously Sarah had coloured my hair with a full head. A full head is only required once a year followed by half a head. Kyle did a mixture of low-lights and bleach, every second foil alternated when he sectioned off my hair. Oscar-Oscar uses Redken hair colour it's ammonia-free formula strengthens and conditions your hair for long-lasting results. Whilst I waited for my colour to develop, I was treated with tea and of course on offer you can have a neck or hand massage.
Once after my colour was developed it was time to wash it all out! But, just not any kind of o'l shampoo and rinse, I had a gloss treatment put in as well followed by a root stretch. Root stretching is a technique that blends out the natural root colour, so it all blends well together!
Once after, I had a blow-wave followed by some dreamy waves styled by Kyle.
For me, this is the best way to keep my hair blonde-tastic. Everyone is different, but at Oscar-Oscar, they will perfect the right colour for you.
Till next time Foxes.
I've been blogging for almost three and a half years now. It's been such an exciting whirlwind of an experience that I've been so lucky to be part of. Back in high school, being a blogger wasn't a job, heck it didn't even exist. I've met so many like-minded creatives, experienced opportunities that I'd never thought I'd ever do with just doing the per usual 9-5 job. I've also been able to express myself online and share my passion with so many who follow me, I love every single one of my foxes. Being a blogger isn't just all about the pretty pictures, it's about being your own boss, putting your skills to the test and being real. Since blogging, I love that I have a voice that can be heard and read by so many of you. Writing has helped me express myself to the world. There's been some ups and a few downs, but mostly ups. I'm grateful to be still on this exciting journey, and I can't wait to show you what I'll be creating next.
Since blogging, I've has some big 'pinch me' moments. I have been able to work with some big and small brands in the industry, this has not only helped me grow professionally but grow as a creative. Being given these opportunities by people who see me as a micro influencer, not too phased about my Instagram following, but as someone who is passionate and that can go that extra mile with creative content and express my ideas into a reality. I've also been part of some fantastic campaigns, one major one was for Esprit for international national womens day.
Freedom of creativity
I have always known that I wanted to be in the creative field. I've always been creative, whether it was doing drama, art or wanting to be a comedian. Having control of my own content and creative ideas without a brief has is an amazing feeling to do. Being able to capture a moment from my vision and into a reality is something I'm so grateful to do. I love creating campaigns and a story to tell to not only my followers but for the brands to use to tell their story online.
Being my own "model"
Being able to embrace all my curves and not have to be a sample sized model to showcase my outfits to my fellow foxes is awesome. It's fine to be any shape or size!
Technically I do a little bit of modelling whilst blogging, i'm no way a model, but I love that I can collaborate with brands and show my followers it's OK to have curves and you don't have to be a size zero to be in fashion. I'm a little thick in certain areas, and that's not fat, that's just being sexy! It took me ages to love my hips, I'd compare myself to others and I wasn't born with that body shape, I was born hourglass and now I love that I don't have to think twice about my body shape and that I can style and wear something because I love it and feel good in it, and to show curves are fabulous to have.
Meeting like-minded people
People who share the same passion as you, wether they're bloggers, designers or lovers of fashion.
I've met so many amazing creative minds of all ages since starting my blog. I've grown close to others who share the same thoughts and love about the industry and express our passions together. I've had some marvellous conversations and I've met some amazing people that I'd never of dreamed to have ever met in my life. People with passion is the fuel for your own pursuits and surrounding yourself with people who believe in you.
(yes, i've also met a few celebs which has been totally cool, and I try to keep "cool" but inside i'm totally fangirling)
I love being a little social butterfly, but some events are fun to attend to see what will be out next, and others such as seminars I attend gain an insight about where the world will be in the next 5 or so years in fashion. Being part of this lets my followers gain an insight into what I experience online.
Last, but not least.....
my FOXY FANS. I love that you foxes inbox me or dm me on my instagram, chat to me and comment. I love every part of that, and when you come up to me when you see me out and about, it gives me so much joy because I love you all. Thank you so much from paw to tail, you guys ROCK.

Having been named after my blonde locks, finding the right hairdresser to achieve the perfect blonde is a serious mission. I'm pedantic when it comes to colouring my hair.
My hair has a mood of it's on, I like to change it with the seasons. I have my hair coloured three times a year. During the cooler winter months, I like to have my hair a little darker than usual. This means warmer tones of blonde or having a balayage effect. I enjoy having balayage because it means less maintenance on the regrowth. When summer arrives and the sun's rays start to peak in, I want to be a lighter spring/summer blonde. This means regrowth almost completely vanishes and I'm a total blondie!
This year I went to Oscar Oscar Doncaster to do the transitions throughout the different seasons. Oscar Oscar renowned for their luxury celebrity services, style cutting, hair styling & hair colour services with Australia's best hairdressers Australia wide. The salon is pristine and luxe to perfection. The service is unbelievable from start to finish and making you feel right at home. Drinks are provided and complimentary treats.
Each session I received the KÉRASTASE Fusio-Dose, the customised ritual resolving hair challenges instantly, to transform your hair while you relax with a hot towel and scalp massage.
Luxury bespoke hair treatments designed to be blended to target specific hair concerns. Shimmer, repair, moisture master serums for an indulgence with the highest quality oils and plant extracts with a soothing massage. This helped keep my hair healthy and strong.
So, let's talk about the two elements of hair colours I've had done so far.
The Balayage Effect by Elliot
Elliot who is the artistic director, created the perfect balayage to suit the cooler weather. The foxy locks were still blonde but had subtle warmer tones throughout. The regrowth was evenly blended by Elliot's technique of applying the dye by hand and sectioning it throughout. He's hilarious, fun and really easy to speak to, this is something that I look for in a hairdresser since you're sitting there for a few hours! Elliot also cut my hair, with only the slightest of layers and the perfect blunt cut, which was exactly what I wanted.
He also does a fabulous blow wave and curls!
The le BLONDE FOX by Sarah.
Sarah is the salon's manager, master stylist and master technician. Another great personality to sit with for hours! Sarah brought back the blonde to le BLONDE FOX. Sarah evenly sections out my hair and did the foils back to back. She takes her time as she sections out each piece and strain of hair. She's so patient and is really passionate about perfecting the right colour. I'd never had anyone be so perfect at a full head of foils with the right colour.
I was so pleased with the results with both Sarah and Elliot, and I can't wait to go back!
Esprit has jumped back in time and brought back your favourites from the 80's. The classic collection has had a mini revamp but has stayed true to style; with their colourful logo tees, jackets and sweaters.
You too can join in on the fun and flaunt your 80's vogue.

Blazers are no longer just a jacket you throw on to go work in the office. They're a way of life right now. OK, maybe that was a little extreme, but they're a fab piece of clothing to own in your wardrobe and to be worn on rotation.
Your every-day t-shirt will go from a casual t-shirt to ' I'm busy, I know things, I'm important' once you throw on a blazer. Trust me on this; it works like a charm. Ha, ok I need to stop joking, but let's put that to one side.
I love wearing a blazer with my basic tees because I feel it changes my whole outfit and it looks really structured. This trend has of course been around since forever from the Parisian babes, but only now us Aussies have caught on. It's also super chic, and I feel putting on a blazer just completes your casual outfit. It can also be worn in a variety of ways, depending on your office setting you could wear this outfit from desk to dinner.
Try it with a belt: Putting a belt around your waist line can tighten in the jacket, giving you an hour glass figure.
Different colour ways: Navy blue, black or check. The choices are endless.
Wear it with your denim jeans, cropped or high waisted.
My outfit is from NEXT AU

It's July Already…. We're half way through the year.
I think the world might be turning a little faster without us knowing?
I'm not complaining… I just want things to slow down a little… you know? But in saying that July is the month of my birthday so no complaints :)
What's the fox wearing?
This is my current favourite outfit obsession, it's kind of like mod dressing loving this long cardigan jacket. Funny enough, I bought this coat from Sussans! Who would've thought! Along with my white jumper, it's super light.. yet so warm! And to top it all off with my per usual my black jeans, which were a bargain from Miss Shop.
Little Foxy Fact: I use to buy the same black jeans from sass & bide, they'd always eventually loose the shine and holes would break through. So why not pay half the price for the same look and yet they've lasted me longer than the pair I use to religiously buy.
Wearing my old faithful bucket bag from NakedVice, I can fit everything and anything in this magical bucket bag! Booties from Windsor Smith which I literally live in! I've finally found a pair of chunky heels that feel comfortable.. yet oh so stylish!
Also my outfit was featured on Windsor Smith, which was super cool! Such a instagram goal to achieve! Thank you WS!!
Chat soon foxes!
It's springtime and it's time to give up our black attire. The time for colour is upon us.From my recent adventure to London town I picked up some new threads. Colour was all around me & peg pants were a hit. It motivated and inspired me to brighten up for the season.
