SUMMER FOX
Summer is here Foxes, and it’s time to plan those outdoor parties, sip on some dranks and relax. It's holiday season... Right?! I do enjoy summer. Not the sweating in the heat weather, but those moments when it’s enjoyable with balmy nights, fruity drinks and rooftop bars.
Finding that perfect outfit can be hard during summer! I don't enjoy just wearing shorts and a t-shirt. That's why I love Glue Store, they have such a variety of summer outfits!
During summer I love catching up with friends during late nights, the suns out till eight and the vibe of the city is buzzing. But it's Melbourne and we know a little chill could come at any time, so it's best to bring a jacket, I love denim jackets, they're light and easy to bring with you anywhere.
Another great part is adventuring to our beaches. One, in particular: Mornington.
I love how the sun glistens over the water, you can relax and let your mind wander and forget what's going on around you. Handy tip - wearing a dress under your bikini makes life easier when ducking in and out of the sea.
And thirdly, comfortable sneakers.
If you've noticed the trend, we're starting to get into relaxed clothing. Fancy sneakers have become acceptable to wear to events. There's a change in the air Foxes, not only with the weather but with our fashion.
What's your summer plans Foxes?

What Bloggers.. REALLY DO.
So, you want to know what bloggers do?
Don't worry, I’ve heard it before: the idea that we just flutter about to events, sip on champagne and have a good ol’ laugh all day, every day (and obsess over Instagram likes) is much less than accurate
Yes, there is a bit of fluttering and sipping and laughing, that's for sure, but the hard work we've done behind the scenes for our followers is not always apparent. I love what I do, and I'm so grateful for where I am in life and how far I've come now. I never thought it'd be as big as it's gotten, the new skills I have learned and can share with others continue to amaze me every day. It’s why I still, to this day, work 110% on all my content so that my followers can keep enjoying what I do.
So, what do I really do? Let me do a timeline- kinda of like, a day in a life of a fashionable fashion fox... hah!
Every morning I wake up at 8.30 am, I check my emails and make myself a coffee. Instant coffee of course... I’m classy like that. Sometimes, a brand will reach out to me and other I'll reach out to them - either way, there’s sure to be something interesting in my inbox.
After I've replied to my emails, I make a content list checklist, of all the blog posts I need to write, and events I have attended or need to attend. During this same time, I'll be liking photos on Instagram, and commenting and sharing our fashion photos!
From there, I read Vouge, Elle and a few fashion sites to write down key ideas that might interest my readers, or me. It’s also how I develop my vocabulary - reading other editorials is a dream for a new language!
Then I write half of each article I’m working on, and by the time I’ve finished that, it’s probably about 11am.
I tend to take a break from writing and edit photos I've taken over the few weeks, ready for Instagram. After I've edited each photo, I email them to myself and create my Instagram photos from there, with hashtags galore!
From there my day could go a few ways:
A) If I’m doing some behind the scene works for a brand, I may head off to attend a meeting with them. Here we get to share our ideas and chat about their exciting up and coming collections. Currently, I'm writing a proposal for a brand for an exciting collaboration coming up next year, so stay tuned for that.
B) If I’ve got some raw material ready to locate, I might head out for an on-location photo shoot. I’ve recently been trying to get out to the city more often to photograph my #ootd. Sometimes, I create a mood board beforehand, and other times the idea will just spring to mind and off I go!
C) The super fun part of the gig: EVENTS! I get to see so many different things and meet the most fantastic people - it's unbelievable and so exciting. But it’s not all fun and games - after I've had fun at an event comes to the extensive night time event write up. No pain, no gain; right?
Then, I do it all over again the next day, but every day is just a little different. Some days I'll just write, edit photos or take photos. Sometimes there won't be any events for months! Then there’ll be one on every day of the week....
It's an exciting blog life I lead, but hard work always pays off foxes. Never forget that.
This little number is pretty spiffy hey! I was actually thinking after I photographed this top from Livingstone Cooper that I could layer it with a shirt too! Perhaps for fashun week?
The jacket is actually a large cardi jacket, got it a few years a go!
Little clutch from TDE.
Heels from Wittner, and socks from Ambra.
Sunnies from Prada
But, do check out Livingstone Cooper, they've got a heap of different designs that will suit your style!
Marks and Spencer: Spring Carnival Season Edit
Marks and Spencer best shoe styles and accessories for the Spring Carnival Season.
Spring racing is nearly upon us foxes! You've picked the dress, but what about the most important part? The shoes & accessories!
Finding the right pair of shoes can be crucial because you'll need a pair that'll be your best friend throughout the whole day, as we don't want any bare feet trotting around the race course end of the day.
Mark & Spencer has a great range of comfortable heels and flashy fun accessories for the race season. I love the Insolia range, it redistributes your weight away from the balls of your feet, reducing pressure and increasing ankle stability, allowing you to wear your heels comfortably all day long. Insolia is endorsed by the UK College of Podiatrists.
These stunning shoes I've picked have a beautiful stable block heel, and it's comfortable throughout the day. Goodbye are the days of painful blisters from 10 inch high heels and hello practical, comfortable and fashionable heels!
And... the price point.... these shoes are under $50!!!
Also, don't forget to check out their clutches, I'm so in love with this cute martini clutch! haha! it's a great conversation starter too.

TRENDING WITH REVOLVE CLOTHING
www.revolveclothing.com.au
Do trends adjust us, or do we adjust to trends?
I have to admit, I adjust to trends, or maybe the trend adjusts me? Confusing right? I know trends change my sense of style.
I'll first notice different a trend, and I'll shrug it off, perhaps I'll actually hate it and swear it off for life! But I'll start to notice it in magazines, and see it out on others, then suddenly I'll have the urge to buy that trend.
STYLE NOTES
LPA SWEATER IN GOLD
HELENA STRAIGHT LEG JEAN
When revolve clothing offered me the chance to collaborate, I knew it was time to change up my usual go-to skinny leg denim jeans.
When I had first seen the raw edge hem on boyfriend jeans, I wasn't a fan, but the image stayed in the back of my mind about this trend.
When I chose the GRLFRND denim Helena's I put them on and I thought how flattering and cool this pair looked! It changes the style of your usual boyfriend jeans and It gives that 'high fashion' approach to your outfit. The dressy jean and be worn on all occasions.
Here are some combo's that came to mind
White shirt + Leather Jacket + Jeans + Sneakers = Casual
Gold Top + Jeans + Heels = Going out
Crop top + Sandals + sunnies = Casual beach day
They now have a special promo on too, Friends & Family Sale Get 20% and Free shipping to Aus!

Chokers are back baby with Francesca Collections
Chokers are back baby, and not just in a braided plastic form.
You're probably thinking to yourself, how can I pull it off?
Firstly, I thought exactly the same thing.
I had seen all the digital influencers on the trend, but I hadn't been able to adjust to the fact I hated them back when I was 10 years old.
But, when I laid my eyes on The Amaro Necktie from Francesca Collections.
I instantly had a flow of different outfit ideas, and how I could wear this trend. It instantly dresses up a white shirt, or T-shirt or a dress!
I thought " I could wear it with my leather pants, denim jacket or perhaps my leather jacket too"
There's something about this necktie/ choker... it's also 100% genuine leather so this baby was built to last, also the beads are sterling silver.
You can wrap it in different styles or adjust the beads the options are endless.
I pieced it with matching earrings. It really does accessories your day-to-day outfit and well into the evening .
This look was under $100
So give it a try, and check out the collection www.francesca.com.au
