Denim jeans are my go-to outfit for any day of the week, and especially events with the right shoe. Dress them up with a blazer and heels for a special night out, a quirky tee and you're set for the night.
The MOM jean, and the frilly cut offs. Have a scroll how i've styled my jeans, and check out the wide range of different styles denim NEXT has HERE to suit all shapes. They're super comfortable, stretchy material and they make you feel good when worn.
As another year comes to a close, I reflect back on what an exciting year I've had. The achievements, the experiences and my foxy fans growing.
This blog gives me great joy to my life, it's helped me grow, understand and learn about the social media world. It has given joy to others, students and fashion lovers around the world.
I'm proud that I can give social media talks to others who are intrigued about this fashion media world, and the emails I receive from readers who I've inspired. It gives me great enjoyment reading those emails it also reminds me why I started this in the first place.
There comes a time in a creative person’s life when they just need to sit back relax and take a break. That’s where I’m at right now. I love blogging, I love creating, I love how I get to inspire people with what I do.
But I can't keep being creative without a break, a step back to work out what I should do next with this amazing personal creation. I want to create content that you'll enjoy reading and that gives my 100% attention to all of you.
I'll be back in early Jan and late February with more content than before, interviews and fun exciting things that I get up to. Whether it's travel, food and of course fashion. I'll always keep you updated. Until then, you can keep updated with me on Instagram. @leblondefox
I can't thank you all enough, and I can't wait to show you what I have installed next year...
Till then Foxes... stay foxy
So, you want to know what bloggers do?
Don't worry, I’ve heard it before: the idea that we just flutter about to events, sip on champagne and have a good ol’ laugh all day, every day (and obsess over Instagram likes) is much less than accurate
Yes, there is a bit of fluttering and sipping and laughing, that's for sure, but the hard work we've done behind the scenes for our followers is not always apparent. I love what I do, and I'm so grateful for where I am in life and how far I've come now. I never thought it'd be as big as it's gotten, the new skills I have learned and can share with others continue to amaze me every day. It’s why I still, to this day, work 110% on all my content so that my followers can keep enjoying what I do.
So, what do I really do? Let me do a timeline- kinda of like, a day in a life of a fashionable fashion fox... hah!
Every morning I wake up at 8.30 am, I check my emails and make myself a coffee. Instant coffee of course... I’m classy like that. Sometimes, a brand will reach out to me and other I'll reach out to them - either way, there’s sure to be something interesting in my inbox.
After I've replied to my emails, I make a content list checklist, of all the blog posts I need to write, and events I have attended or need to attend. During this same time, I'll be liking photos on Instagram, and commenting and sharing our fashion photos!
From there, I read Vouge, Elle and a few fashion sites to write down key ideas that might interest my readers, or me. It’s also how I develop my vocabulary - reading other editorials is a dream for a new language!
Then I write half of each article I’m working on, and by the time I’ve finished that, it’s probably about 11am.
I tend to take a break from writing and edit photos I've taken over the few weeks, ready for Instagram. After I've edited each photo, I email them to myself and create my Instagram photos from there, with hashtags galore!
From there my day could go a few ways:
A) If I’m doing some behind the scene works for a brand, I may head off to attend a meeting with them. Here we get to share our ideas and chat about their exciting up and coming collections. Currently, I'm writing a proposal for a brand for an exciting collaboration coming up next year, so stay tuned for that.
B) If I’ve got some raw material ready to locate, I might head out for an on-location photo shoot. I’ve recently been trying to get out to the city more often to photograph my #ootd. Sometimes, I create a mood board beforehand, and other times the idea will just spring to mind and off I go!
C) The super fun part of the gig: EVENTS! I get to see so many different things and meet the most fantastic people - it's unbelievable and so exciting. But it’s not all fun and games - after I've had fun at an event comes to the extensive night time event write up. No pain, no gain; right?
Then, I do it all over again the next day, but every day is just a little different. Some days I'll just write, edit photos or take photos. Sometimes there won't be any events for months! Then there’ll be one on every day of the week....
It's an exciting blog life I lead, but hard work always pays off foxes. Never forget that.
This little number is pretty spiffy hey! I was actually thinking after I photographed this top from Livingstone Cooper that I could layer it with a shirt too! Perhaps for fashun week?
The jacket is actually a large cardi jacket, got it a few years a go!
Little clutch from TDE.
Heels from Wittner, and socks from Ambra.
Sunnies from Prada
But, do check out Livingstone Cooper, they've got a heap of different designs that will suit your style!
It’ll be two years soon since I visited the UK. I fell in love with the history, the houses, the lifestyle and of course the fashion! I stayed in the heart of London, everyone had their own unique style and you’d also notice trends that weren’t worn here in Australia. I quickly adapted and purchased a number of peg pants, and since that I still wear them out during spring.
One moment that I truly loved was visiting the Queens palace, and going to the Victoria and Albert museum. The Palace inside is absolutely remarkable, inside there’s red carpet throughout, mirrors at every corner and plenty of portraits of the Royal family. Stepping back in time, seeing what they wore throughout that era’s was so inspiring. I remember I kept thinking, I wonder where they’ve kept all their outfits? Perhaps in a hidden room and maybe one day they might showcase it for the world to see. It was also amazing to think, that I was walking in the same room that the Royals had lived and breathed in.
I’ll be going again next year, but for now, London can come to you straight to your door in Australia!
Boden has a great range of clothing to suit your own unique style.
When I teamed up with Boden, I went back to my love of trousers and especially these checkered ones. They’re made so well, and the cut is perfect. I paired them up with this lush cashmere black jumper, it’s super soft and has now become one of my wardrobe staple items. To complete this pretty look are these super stylish and cute tie up pointed flats, giving it that fashion edge.

Nixon is a highly respected brand since 1997 and is US family owned and I was honoured to have the opportunity of creating my own custom Nixon watch.
There is only one in Australia and it's located in Melbourne, at Chadstone. It is Australia's only one customisation bar and that's why it is so special. Being only one of five customisation bars which are globally located in Paris, London, and New York.
Giving you a chance to become the creator. Customers can customise each piece, case dial, and band. The custom bar range includes popular colorways that are available, including the premium Horween Leather bands. Additionally, you have the option of engraving on the case back. Options include a unique Nixon logo or your own message to yourself or loved one great for those special occasions! The whole process takes around about an hour.
It's definitely a memorable experience and timeless moment you’ll never forget when creating your very own unique watch.
Inside you'll be greeted by their friendly staff, and a coffee to help you with your big decisions!
You sit with the talented watchmaker Chloe, who has had years of experience in the field.
There are three models you pick from
Prices are above
I went with the 51-30 chrono, it's striking yet elegant in design. It's perfect for the stylish woman who loves a statement.
Once you've picked your design is when the fun begins. There is a large amount of choice with the 51-30 chrono. During the process, I switched different bands, to different faces and trying out all sorts of colour ways with the watch until I felt it what one really suited my style.
I have to say, once my watch came together my heart fluttered with excitement. I went for silver and rose gold because I love rose gold and the final look of watch aesthetically was the most appealing to me.
During this time, I asked Chloe a few questions
How long have you been watchmaking?
Working with watches is really special to me as it reflects on my childhood and family life.
I have been around watches and watchmaking since I was very young, always being in my dad's workshop. I worked with him for 5 years. I really enjoyed learning a skill that isn't a common skill, especially for a female.
I then furthered my watchmaking skills from another retired watch maker in Geelong. I really enjoy working with small mechanical parts.
Tell us about your time so far working for Nixon?
Once I began working for Nixon, it was really special as there is no job like it. Watchmakers are becoming a rare breed, so Nixon having a custom bar is really exciting for the industry.
How did Nixon train you to become one of their watchmakers in customisation?
I was flown to Paris to work and learn from the Guru Nixon custom bar manager. I learned everything from Quentin, it was an amazing opportunity to be able to work overseas and learn from him.
He showed me all processes for putting together the watches and how to do it with style.
Quentin and the Nixon team have been really amazing in the way they have made the Custom bar as a real experience, making the customer feel premium and valued while they are making their unique piece.
Having this opportunity within Nixon is really amazing.
After your watch has come together Chloe puts the pieces together for you, and soon after your watch is lasered engraved with your choice of wording or Nixon unique logos.
It's a fun process to watch, it's almost magical as the laser beams down and infuses your words onto the back of the watch.
It really brought me so much joy that I created something.
It's a timeless piece and knowing something so special is on your wrist.
What are you waiting for? There's no time to waste, become a creator today at Nixon's customisation bar.
Special thanks to NIXON
