ADELAIDE FASHION FESTIVAL 2015
I literally landed in Adelaide and went straight to "Ready to wear" runway at the Published Art House. Showcasing on the day was Adelaide' talented designers.
With a unique theme and a graphite backdrop on the catwalk. RnB music played in style whilst the models paraded down the grassy runway.
The local designers that showcased their new collection were Casper + Pearl, Simmone Standing The Label, SIG The Label, Lucy Giles,Naomi Murrel, Millicent Elizabeth, Paige Rowe + More….. all styled by Mia Gambranis. During this runway event we we're fed lunch and of course wine!
I was able to catch up with fellow gal pals Kelly Nobel from Glam Adelaide & Maggie from Fashion Global.

LIZA EMANUELE RUNWAY
FASHION INSIDER BREAKFAST
Fashion and Food… my two favourite things in the world! Brunching at Jamie's Italian was divine, I woke up around 6am to get ready as it started at 7.30am sharp. I really enjoyed each moment, the setting inside really transported you to european restaurant decor. As we sat down at our tables full of yummy italian traditional food. We listened to plus size model Fiona Falkiner, international stylist Nicole Bonython-Hines, TY-LR designer Chris Kontos and social media guru Tania De Bono. All sharing their tips, tricks and experience about the industry.
ALEXIS GEORGE AND LEXI RUNWAY
AUSTRALIAN FASHION LABELS BNKR RUNWAY
Australian Fashion Labels is another well knowen Adelaide HQ and have just recently launched in sunny LA. They showcased their in-house brands The Fifth, Finders Keepers, Keepsake The Label and C/meo Collective.
Fun, quirky and versatile pieces presented from each brand. Everyone pointing and picking out pieces that were a must have in their wardrobe. I too did the same, as I spotted a few faves from their collections.
Paolo Sebastian
They say they leave the best till last, and these words are true.
The runway commenced and the crowd was in absolute mesmerisation, as we all travelled to Paolo's creative world of The Snow Maiden. From hand-sewn embellishments, sheer perfection gowns, furs, lace embroidery and more. Outfits that were fit for a Queen. The couture outfits were full of richness and wealth.
As the runway lights beamed on each outfit, you could see the beauty of the embellished pieces that shimmered and glisten on the models as they glided down the runway. The crowd stood for a standing ovation for Paolo, as we knew from that moment a proud homebound Adelaidean had done his state proud in the fashion industry. A new announced royal, Paolo the king of fashion.
I feel my words do no justice, as I suggest you watch the video below for yourself to experience what we saw first hand from such a talented creative designer.
