Dannii Minogue: Westfield Fashion Obsessions
Thursday night I had the pleasure of being invited to Dannii Minogue Fashion Obsessions and Confessions workshop at Westfield Fountain gate.
Dannii Minouge had travelled to NSW,QLD and final stop Victoria, as Westfields style ambassador for these workshop events filling us in on the latest trends for winter 2015 with also Vogue Fashion Editor Meg Gray and host Anthony Simpson.
That night Dannii took a trip down memory lane talking about her love for 80s fashion and her love for old hollywood . We had an insight into what she likes to do in personal life. Believe it or not her Dannii revealed how she loved going back to the family farm with her sister Kylie and just wearing her tracky pants and Ugg boots and their favourite woollen jumpers. A quote from her words were "I revel in it" meaning she loves and embraces her glamours days off.
One thing Dannii can't live without is.. pleather, its all the range vegan leather at the moment and her most prized item in her wardrobe is a leather jacket. Dannii bought it from Patricia Field's New York based shop at 17! . Patricia is also a stylist for the world known show "sex and the city". This jacket was worn in her first music video "Love and Kisses".
After fashion chit chat confessions, Dannii & Vogue Fashion Editor Meg Gray spoke about the up and coming trends for winter 2015.
NORM CORE
It's been talked about all year! Normcore is a trend of wearing you classic colours black, whites and camel. Once you have these colours in your wardrobe you'll never look back! As these colours are here to stay and will be timeless pieces.
SPORTS LUXE
Sports luxe is here to stay.. it's relaxing tailoring look is perfect for any casual day.
Along with winter whites! Loving it, as you know us melbournians tend to stick to black, but don't be scared to go all out! If you a little scared for this look then then put a few white pieces with your black wardrobe, you can never go wrong with black and white!
PREPPY MOD
Love this look! Especially the socks! Mod dressing was big in the 60's and we'll be seeing it hit centre stage all over again with a preppy twist!
70'S REVAMPED
oving this look, if you haven't heard by now but the 70's are back baby!
High thighs, neck ties this outfit is mega cute!
Here is with a lovely photo of Dannii and I!!
Big thanks to Westfield Fountain gate xxx
