How to be a #Girlboss ft Review Australia
We're in the digital age and it's time to shine and be your own entrepreneur in what you're passionate about. So how can you be a down right #girlboss?
Firstly whatever your game is you always need to be organised!
I like to plan my weekly schedule on a week map. I also have a notebook for blog ideas and photo shoots and of course the o'l diary for locking in dates for events, photoshoots.
REPLY to your emails on time! It's true sometimes I've left them there in the inbox floating for a few days, but I'll always reply and try to reply on that day.
Be passionate about what you're doing! If there's no passion then I'm not too sure what'd it be? It'd feel like a job you hate doing. So if you love what you do it won't ever feel like a chore.
Network, network and more NETWORK! If you're not a social butterfly, then spread your wings baby and learn to fly because you'll need to become a bit of a talker to up your creation. If at first take a friend with you who is more outgoing and help you speak to contacts and work together. Learn to breathe, I'll be honest sometimes before big events I'll be super nervous, but once I'm in that atmosphere I'm so relaxed and flow with the moment.
Post what's true to you, I've always been 100% on my posts and Instagram, but this year I'm going to write more of these topics to help others learn!
Listen to others who gave great advice and learn from your own mistakes. Don't take people's opinions to heart, but don't beat yourself up, just learn and keep on being you.
Be kind, there's no need to be sassy. If you do encounter someone who's mean or rude during a conversation, simply say "oh I'm thirsty I'll be right back" or "I just have to quickly go to the toilet" And viola you're free from negative people. Plus usually progressively during the night they'll move onto someone else.
Learn to rest and repeat. This is something that I've struggled with, I'm always on the go, I'm always looking for that next big thing. I've now taken a step back a few days and to reflect on everything I've achieved and rested myself and soul.
