We sometimes think that our inner strength is by wearing our heels, and that being taller makes us stronger or confident. This is a complete opposite for me, as I feel courageous in sneakers. Being confident is a hard thing to be, we are surrounded by so much noise that can pull us down.
Not only it's yourself who holds inner strength, but it's the way you present yourself. When I wear sneakers, I feel more confident than ever.
How can we be confident in ourselves?
Think positive about yourself. You can be your worse enemy when it comes to self-criticism. You can change your mindset and once you start to love yourself and be proud of who you are, it'll shine through. Block out negative thoughts and negative opinions.
Surround yourself with positive people who put you up, not down. Perhaps it has happen to you before, or it's happening now. People seem to be really good at putting down others, but not giving them credit or gratification. Throw those people in the bin, not only are they annoying, but they're bringing you down.
