Sorry, I've been MIFA (missing in fox action), I've been studying hard (cough cough). No really, I really want to finish my PR degree by next year, so these summer units have been making me work overtime. Oh, and I'm giving a lecture at Swinburne Uni in the next few weeks, wish me luck! I've never spoken in front of 350 people….. OH MY FOX.
So I’m sure you've scrolled down and checked out the latest awesome get up I'm wearing. I teamed up with Levi's, for a number of reasons. Firstly I watched the Executive Vice President and President, of the Levi's® Brand - JC aka James Curleigh- speak at the VAMFF business seminar last year. I still remember his lecture to this day, I really admired his passion for the brand, his method of changing it up in order to move forward and his public speaking skills. Secondly The brands history: they've been around for not one or two years but since 1873. It all started with Levi Strauss joining the family dry cleaning business. Here Levi learned the trade, and a letter from a customer of Levi, Jacob who was a tailor with a great idea which Levi was enthusiastic about and boom! The first blue denim jeans were created and the rest is history, but I highly suggest you read it HERE, because there is so much more to it than just that one line.
"Anyone can make a pair of blue jeans, but Levi Strauss & Co. made the first blue jean –– in 1873"
