I love winter, especially winter fashion. I love the rich fabrics and layering pieces together during this season. During the cooler months, I've been living in coats and jackets, I just love how lush and tailored the style has been this season. Next has provided those key styles that have kept me warm throughout. Have a look at their current styles here, you might find something that you'll also will fall in love with!
Although our winter is sadly coming to an end, it's safe to say I expect a few more chilly days in Melbourne - due to our unpredictable weather.
Till next time Foxes...
I know what you're thinking, are you CRAZY?! ha! A little, but sometimes we get so used to similar outfits that we can forget that it can be fun to try different styles and colours in our wardrobe. We're all about our "signature look" or "investment pieces" that we tend to forget that it's OK to be different or to try a different style of clothing or a trend we wouldn't usually go for.
We should embrace different styles and trends we don't usually go for, why should we keep being safe with our fashion? Let your alter ego style take over for once and you'll be amazed at the result and surprised with what you might've thought wouldn't look the best to something that looks fantastic on you!
My inner arty little foxy self-burst with excitement when I saw these mismatched earrings from Isabel Marant. I love her designs and these earrings were something I'd never dare to wear, but I felt my art teacher alter ego say "Do it, wear them! THEY'LL LOOK AWESOME". Alter ego was right, they do look hella cool! I love them, they're dainty but express a part of me that I rarely show now. I'm glad I took the plunge and picked them because now I wear them regularly.
Another key piece of something I never buy is white booties because we've been told: "white gets dirty". Yes, they can, but not if you spray protectant! These studded white pointed booties from Sam Edelman were such a statement too! I love styling them with my jeans, it just gives my casual outfit such a pop!
So, what are you waiting for? #StyleHigh with Shopbop and try something a little bit different that your alter ego currently craves!
I admire French women, from their beauty routine to their easily pleasing aesthetic style. French women just know how to dress, and so far their minimal style with key pieces is something that I'm constantly lusting over. It's not over the top, but not underdressed, it's simply just right. The French women have perfected the everyday outfit with effortless style from top to toe.
These are the following key investment pieces I swear by when creating your Parisian capsule wardrobe with a little spin on my own taste.
The investment blazer
Having a blazer is key essential to any Parisian inspired outfit. It's a key investment piece. Finding the right one for you depends on your own colour/style. I personally love this one from Viktoria and Woods, the gold detail on it just finishes nicely with any outfit. I've worn this blazer a lot, it's a great investment piece. I also think tartan/checkered blazers are très chic also, so find one you'll fall in love with that'll suit your style.
The straight denim jeans
Ah! How times have changed, remember when we wore skinny leg jeans? Well wearing straight legged jeans are in! Investing in a good pair of denim jeans is a must I also find this style is way more flattering on me since I'm hourglassed shaped. I also love wearing these with a belt or belting up my blazer. If you don't want to spend too much, check out the outnet.com for a bargain designer jean. These ones are from Acne.
Stack it up, dainty gold accessories.
I'm so in love with accessories now. I use to be really lazy and forget to wear my rings and necklaces, but I've made it my mission to remember! It's amazing how it can just instantly change up your outfit, especially layering your accessories gives it that French street style vibe. Pandora has the chic's rings and pendants.
Although French women are renowned for kitten heels, the laid-back French style go-to is a pair of flats! Especially if you're running errands every day. For when you're on the go, these little babies from hush puppies feel so comfortable and supportive, but still so stylish.
The bum bag/ micro bag
Ah, honestly, this trend was hard for me to adapt to, but that was until I found the perfect little bum bag from Mimco! It works as a belt strap too. If you're going to Europe this is best to invest in one, so you'll have your bag right in front of you at all times. I like to also wear this as a cross body bag, it also works as a nice accessory/belt too, giving your outfit that "extra" style to it.
Till next time Foxes... Stay Foxy!

Fashion week is one of the most exciting time. I love the energy of the events, I admire the different runway shows and concepts, and I really adore seeing the latest fashion and makeup trends walk down the runway. I've been attending fashion week for years now. I wanted to give you a few of my own tips that I've learnt along the way for you to be prepared.
We've all been there, we've all had our doubts in what we've chosen for the show and how we secretly want to be photographed candid #streetstyle while in our best outfit. So, how do you prepare? How do you get rid of all your concerns about attending fashion week?
Firstly prepare your outfits at least a week before, don't be like me and be last minute. I've been there, it's so stressful and I've noticed that's when the doubts creep in a little quicker than usual. Your room will most likely be a mess too, and you'll feel rushed. When i'm not planning outfits last minute, I like to hang my outfits on the rack, take photos and try them on to see what will suit. I create at least three different outfits for one event, in case the weather changes. I check the weather too the night before, it's so unpredictable.
2) Fashion week is a time for experimenting with your outfits and accessories! It's so fun to dress up, you can wear literally anything out of the ordinary. Wear something that you enjoy wearing, and that you'll be comfortable with. I enjoy wearing "loud" pieces of clothing during fashion week, colourful, prints you name it I'll wear it. Just be you and be confident.
3) Charge your camera and phone or bring a portable charger. Oh and bring another SD card just in case your first one gets full quickly by all the photos you've snapped.
4) Make sure you have all your dates and runway shows written down in your diary or phone.
5) Gather the crew. This is meant to be fun too, if you have your friends with you to attend the runway shows, it'll be less daunting and enjoyable.
And lastly, HAVE FUN. Enjoy the runway. I like to take a few photos/videos and then upload them after. I use to be glued to my phone and I wouldn't enjoy the experience! But now I photograph my key looks and enjoy the rest.
If you're looking for a statement outfit then check out Revolve Clothing! They have an amazing range of designers and styles. These jeans that i'm wearing are from my favourite brand GRLFRND denim.

Till next time Foxes! Stay Foxy....
I want you to think back to a time when you felt your heart flutter when you wore the perfect outfit. It's a great feeling, isn't it? It's not an impulsive feeling, but it's a sense of euphoria that great fashion makes us feel. For me, this feeling comes when I find the perfect bag to have by my side whilst strutting down the city streets to attend events, meetings or even for a cheeky cute lunch date. I want to feel fashionable, powerful and most of all, happy!
So when I was scrolling on Shopbop, I started to feel my heart flutter when this Marc Jacobs beauty caught my eye. Soon, like always, my mind began to race and flicker through when and where I'd wear this. The colour was just perfect, but most of all, I pictured my #StyleHigh moments wearing this. I could picture myself at an event with this epic bag. The statement strap crossed over my black blazer, making a scene to make heads turn and wonder.... who is that fashionable babe?... That's when I feel confident in my #StyleHigh moment. Of course, it'll go with every outfit, I thought to myself as my mind started to wander into fashion utopia.
Have a little scroll, you're bound to find something on Shopbop to have your latest #StyleHigh moment too.
*Disclaimer: This blog post has been written intentionally with a light-hearted tone of voice. Diesel is celebrating a silly/tongue in cheek mantra – that not every date goes great, so they've designed a sleek and comfortable new collection of denim (Jogg Jeans) which are made to run away from bad dates.
Let's not kid ourselves, we've all been there. We have sat with the worse dates in the world, or perhaps they've thought I'm the worse date in the world, who knows, but right now this a selfish post so it's all about me.
I've had people eat off my plate, say the most unthoughtful rude things during a conversation, guys who take a phone call and have a full blown conversation over our dinner date, and I've also had the long story about their ex's and I suddenly become a counsellor. I excuse myself to the bathroom, not to ditch, unfortunately, but to cringe at the fact I've just wasted two hours on someone who just isn't for me. Soon the following thoughts start to quickly go through my mind whilst applying my lipstick like the following; "are you going to have to split the bill? Or are they paying? What's up with him talking about himself? This isn't a segment of this is your life, maybe I should invoice him for my time and advice? He better be paying since he just ate the food off my plate!" Then regretfully, I go back to my seat. Perhaps I'm just too polite to leave, and sadly, we have to kiss a lot of frogs to find our prince, and Meghan Markle eventually found hers, so there's a chance for all us! Right....?
So, from now on I've decided to ditch bad dates with #NoFear whilst wearing my Jogg Jeans, so boys beware if you see my strutting in the door with these on, you know there might be a chance I'll be dashing out that door. So, what are my tips you ask? Well... without further adieu feast your eyes with my wisdom.
1) The old, "oh, sorry, I've got to go to the toilet" excuse. Don't forget your bag, because it'd be really awkward if you had to return to fetch it.
2) "I've got to move my car, I didn't pay for enough parking!" This one is a good one because you can literally go to your car and drive off. Byeeee Felicia!
3) Text a friend, tell them to call you, then answer the phone in shock and say you need to go, your friends having an emergency, she just broke up with her boyfriend and you've just gotta go! Or whatever, another excuse you can think of.
4) My mum's just called, she's locked herself out of the house and I'm the only one who has the key, it's a unique key! Say this whilst getting out of your seat, creating mid-action movements startles the other person, they won't have time to have a come back because by the end of your sentence you've already walked out the door shouting "IT'S A UNIQUE KEY... I ONNNLLLLY HAV...IT" and cue fade out Homer Simpson style. Or here's another with this dilemma, get your acting skills on, quick smart. Think a totally dramatic thought, gasp and say " oh my god, i've locked my poor cat outside" politely again, cue fade out.
And finally, you could pull a diesel move, just get up and RUN.
And, from my followers who gave their two cents about how they've ditched their bad dates!
"I actually climbed out of the window out of the restaurant toilet, the date was that bad"
"This one guy invited me to see a movie, we met on tinder and in his photos, he looked really cute! But, when we met at the cinema he didn't look a thing like his photos. We sat down, and I said I needed to go to the bathroom, I never went back!"
"This guy was once an hour late, I felt so stupid waiting for him in the restaurant, so when he arrived I said I had to move my car and I never went back!"
So the next time you're thinking of ditching a bad date, don't forget to wear your JoggJeans!
*These are my own thoughts and words, none of this is scientific, and by no means, I'm not complaining, I love what I do and I wouldn't have it any other way.
